Theo Dombrowski is an artist, writer, kayaker, hiker, mountain biker and skier. He worked in international education for most of his career, primarily at Lester Pearson College, near Victoria, BC. Theo is the author of numerous bestselling guidebooks published by RMB, including Popular Day Hikes: Vancouver Island - Revised and Updated, Seaside Walks on Vancouver Island, Family Walks and Hikes of Vancouver Island - Volume 1: Victoria to Nanaimo and Family Walks and Hikes of Vancouver Island - Volume 2: Nanaimo North to Strathcona Park . He donates some of the profits from his book projects to charity, principally the Georgia Strait Alliance and Medecins sans frontieres (MSF) International. He lives in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia.
