Editorial Reviews

"Moving between urban and rural settings with an underlying message of environmental conservatism, Picture This is a fast paced and suspenseful thriller. McClintock takes the story of a troubled teen and gives it a hopeful twist without taking away from the gritty reality of his situation...A great short novel that is sure to hold a reluctant reader's interest. Highly Recommended."

— CM Magazine

"This novel will appeal to students—especially boys—who can empathize with Ethan and his life. It will also be a good match for students who need books of a lower reading level that still provide grown-up situations."

— Resource Links

"The author sets the tone for this drama/mystery like no other...I recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick mystery to tide you over until this author releases her next book."

— Tacoma School District #10, Student Reviewer

"At just over 100 pages, Picture This by Norah McClintock offers readers an amazing amount of action and mystery. Ethan is portrayed as the typical at-risk, big city teen trying to improve his life. Readers will cheer him on as he works to hang onto his new life."

— TeensReadToo.com

"McClintock does an excellent job of telling the story from the perspective of a teenage boy who has had a hard life but is trying to turn his life around. The writing is pithy yet absorbing and will keep the reader turning pages to find out what is going to happen next. The attractive cover will entice teen readers...Recommended."
