BC Books Online was created for anyone interested in BC-published books, and with librarians especially in mind. We'd like to make it easy for library staff to learn about books from BC publishers - both new releases and backlist titles - so you can inform your patrons and keep your collections up to date.

Description
Eric and his buddies have left behind their all boys school to attend high school with girls.
Eager to find his place in this exciting new world, Eric joins the student life committee, unaware that he is expected to enforce the school’s strict dress code. The dress code is particularly harsh on the girls he is keen to get to know. Eric finds this awkward, but it’s nothing compared to the position he finds himself in when the whole school revolts.
This short novel is a high-interest, low-reading level book for middle-grade readers who are building reading skills, want a quick read or say they don’t like to read!

Monique Polak has been known to don leggings. Monique has written numerous books for young people, including five other Orca Currents. Her last Currents novel, Hate Mail, won the Quebec Writers’ Federation Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Monique lives in Montreal, Quebec.
