BC Books Online was created for anyone interested in BC-published books, and with librarians especially in mind. We'd like to make it easy for library staff to learn about books from BC publishers - both new releases and backlist titles - so you can inform your patrons and keep your collections up to date.
Our site features print books and ebooks - both new releases and backlist titles - all of which are available to order through regular trade channels. Browse our subject categories to find books of interest or create and export lists by category to cross-reference with your library's current collection.
A quick tip: When reviewing the "Browse by Category" listings, please note that these are based on standardized BISAC Subject Codes supplied by the books' publishers. You will find additional selections, grouped by theme or region, in our "BC Reading Lists."

Honeymoon in Berlin examines the extremes of human desire, and investigates the human fascination with limits, the line between courage and fear, life and death.
Praise for Honeymoon in Berlin:
"A book of bold contrasts, Honeymoon in Berlin is simultaneously beautiful and ugly, alluring and repulsive. It's an achievement. It's art." (Front & Centre)
"An utterly fearless riff on a very dark vision. Honeymoon in Berlin is all high wire and no net. I liked it, felt guilty, then liked it more." (Michael Dennis, author of This Day Full of Promise and Fade to Blue)
"In Honeymoon in Berlin, Walmsley evokes a twilight world where men and women furtively tap away at keyboards, trying to connect with each other, but also with their own deepest impulses. A tense, disturbing sequence of poems, this pared-down masterpiece is packed with the stuff of a full-length novel: it is about death and shit and love and hope." (Stuart Ross)
Tom Walmsley is a playwright, novelist, and poet. His plays include 'Blood' (Scirocco Drama, 2000), 'Three Squares a Day, The Workingman, Getting Wrecked', and 'Descent.'
