About the Author

Elizabeth O'Kiely

B>Elizabeth O'Kiely was born in Vancouver in 1923. Before and after a stint as an RCAF (Women's Division) transport driver, she attended McGill University and UBC to earn a Master's Degree in social work. Her father, Duncan Bell-Irving, is the subject of Gentleman Air Ace. She is also the author of Crofton House: The First Ninety Years.
