Annette Saliken

Annette holds a master's degree in business and sustainability and a bachelor's degree in mathematics and English. Currently, Annette is a senior writer for a large professional services company. She lives with her husband in Vancouver, British Columbia.


Martin G. Clarke is a senior professional engineer specializing in alternative energy. In his current role as energy manager at Metro Vancouver, Martin identifies, evaluates and recommends renewable-energy projects to reduce energy consumption and overall carbon emissions from the operations of the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Examples of his initiatives include biomass, micro-hydro and geoexchange energy projects. Previously, Martin was a project manager at a fuel-cell technology company, and a project manager on biomass and waste energy projects at an engineering consulting firm. Martin is a certified energy manager (CEM) and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
