Description

George Stanley's first book in five years contains thirty new pieces reflecting his idea that a poem is after all about something. Here are poems about movies, ballparks, hocky, dogs, sex, aging, trips to Calgary and Veracruz, Ireland and Scotland, his return to Terrace, BC, where he lives for fifteen years, each poem demonstrating an engagement with the world and its particulars.
