About the Authors

Eric Walters

ERIC WALTERS, a former elementary school teacher, is one of Canada’s most popular authors for children and young adults. He has written more than seventy books that together have won more than a hundred awards, and talks to hundreds of young people in schools and libraries across the country each year. He is also the founder of Creation of Hope, which provides care for orphans in the Makueni district of Kenya, and lives in Mississauga, Ontario. Visit him online at www.ericwalters.net.

Josée Bisaillon was born in 1982 in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec. When she was a little girl, she loved to draw cats and houses. She also cut out everything made of paper that she could find around her. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 2005. This is where she fell in love with illustration. Josée has won many awards, such as Applie Arts, LUX, American Illustration and Society of Illustrators. She was also shortlisted for the Governor General’s Literary Awards in 2008 and 2010. Josée lives in a nice little house in the suburbs of Montreal with her husband and their children. She still loves drawing cats and cutting out everything she can find made of paper.
