Toys, Dolls, Puppets
He was supposed to say, "You're my Bitsiest bestiest friend," but every time he got to that 'bestiest' part, his mouth jammed open and his little pink tongue slipped out the side. He looked so human I couldn't believe it. It was like he was gagging on it or something.
Up! Up! He climbed through the sky on a wave of white water. The wave licked the big sky like a giant tongue. It was the greatest wave in the sea and he, George the Brave, George the Steadfast, rode the wild thing.
"Why am I the only one who ever makes the bed?" Harriet said.
Theodora looked up.
"Because you're the only one with thumbs," she said. "See?" She held out her paws. "Bears don't have thumbs. So it's hard for us to do jobs like that."
"Penguins don't have thumbs either," Vera said. She held out one orange flipper for Harriet to see.
"Nor do sheep," Lambie said.
"Cats don't have thumbs either," Tiger said. "But that's not why we don't make beds."
