About the Author

David R. Greig

David Greig is a Lawyer, Mediator and Arbitrator, and has been practicing law for over 30 years. He was born in Victoria BC and educated there, in the BC interior, and Vancouver. After a short career in music, Mr. Greig married, and then attended and graduated from the University of Victoria in 1983 (English) and 1986 (law). During his studies he produced more children than research papers, while graduating in the top 10% of his class, with several bursaries and awards. After completing articles, he practiced for 7 years with a local firm, doing insurance cases, family law, criminal court work, and just about everything else. He then formed a partnership, where he worked as the managing partner and a litigator for 17 years. In 2010 he left that partnership and established South Coast Law Group, a group of independent law corporations.
